Request data deletion

Updated October 27, 2026

You can request deletion of data related to your Messenger conversations with a Facebook Page using MC Chatbot. This page is public and does not require an MC Chatbot account.

1. Submit a request

Email privacy@mcchatbot.com or message the Facebook Page you contacted. Please include “Personal data request” in your message. See our data deletion instructions.

Tell us the Page name, approximately when the conversation took place, and what data you want deleted. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes, or API keys. If you manage a Page, identify the Page and the relevant administrator account.

2. Verification and processing

  1. MC Chatbot receives your email. If you message a Page, its manager forwards the request to the operator.
  2. We verify your identity through the original conversation or other suitable information to avoid deleting someone else's data.
  3. After verification, we review deletion or anonymization of customer profiles, identifiers, messages, notes, and related files still stored in the app. We report the outcome through the same contact channel.

Some data may need to be retained for legal obligations or dispute resolution. Data stored by Meta on Facebook or Messenger is outside MC Chatbot; you can manage that data through your Meta account.

3. Disconnecting a Page

An administrator can disconnect a Page in the app. This revokes the active connection but does not automatically delete stored history. To delete history, submit a separate request using step 1.
